What to read about startups and investment?

There is lots being written every day that’s useful to entrepreneurs and investors, besides news from Techcrunch and Techmeme.
Here are some tips:

  • Mattermark Daily — hands down the best curated newsletter. They usually link to insightful pieces that focus on building startups and raising funds.
Subscribe at https://mattermark.com/app/Newsletter. Archive at https://mattermark.com/category/mattermark-daily/.
  • CB Insights — a newsletter more on the infographic and statistics side, one that will help you spot the trends and not miss any unusual developments. https://www.cbinsights.com/newsletter
  • Medium is good if you follow a few prolific recommenders, such as Chris Messina and Ev Williams.
  • Quora Digest is very helpful reading for entrepreneurs and investors if you follow relevant topics (Startups, Startup Advice and Strategy, Investing etc.), and great contributors (such asDavid S. Rose, Sam Altman, Ben Parr and so on).

I usually open the more interesting-sounding links (this is mostly for Mattermark and Medium), then click the ‘Send to Kindle’ button, and read the articles on my Kindle on my way to the office. See http://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle.

Enjoy your new information overload. :)
