Having facial hair is actually pretty natural, in women they are usually lighter in color and texture but in some women, facial hair starts to appear darker and thicker on some parts due to hormonal imbalance i.e production of androgen in higher amounts than the usual or maybe due to PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).

Why to remove Facial hair:

If having facial hair is a natural phenomenon so why do we need to remove them?

Having excessive facial hair can make your skin look dull and it also makes the application of your make-up so uneven.

How to remove facial hair:

There are several ways to remove your facial hair like natural remedies, laser therapy, face shaving, face waxing, threading, etc.

Using remedies for removing facial hair is an extremely slow process with 20% results whereas laser therapy is not affordable for everyone and while threading is used for specific areas of your face and is unable to remove peach fuzz from your face.

The two most widely used methods for facial hair removal is face waxing and face shaving.

Face Shaving VS Face Waxing:

Face Shaving:

  • It is the most convenient method.
  • It's painless.
  • Less time consuming.
  • Budget friendly.
  • Remove peach fuzz and dead skin cells.
  • Cause little or no damage to your skin.
  • Razor bumps caused by shaving can easily be overcome by keeping two things in mind: always shave in the direction of your hair growth not against it and after shaving do icing for a few minutes.

No hair will not grow back thicker or darker or harder it will grow the same as before depending upon how you had them naturally. The only con of face shaving is that it only lasts a week.

Face Waxing:

  • It’s a convenient and budget-friendly method too but creates lots of mess and can’t be done properly on your own.
  • It is painful.
  • The pulling effect during face waxing can cause damage to your skin.

Pro of doing facial wax is that it lasts for a month at least depending upon your hair growth.
