Nobody Cares About Your Mental Health; It’s Your Responsibility

The truth of the world is that nobody cares about your mental health. Sometimes even family members fail to understand you.

Mental health is one of the most underrated domains of the health industry. At least in many underdeveloped countries. In most countries, it is not even considered as a health issue. People who grow up in cultures where mental health is not important to take into account sometimes don’t even know that they have mental health issues.

I personally know many people around me who have dealt with mental health issues, but they are not aware that there is something wrong. Many people around the world are like that; they know that their mental health is disturbed, but they think someone else is coming to make their lives better.

I can understand that we all crave love, care, and emotional support. The truth of the world is that nobody cares about your mental health. Sometimes even family members fail to understand you.

Yes, I know. Some people are lucky enough to have the right people by their side when they deal with mental health, but the majority of the world does not have such support.

So the better thing is that we educate people in such a way that they are willing to take responsibility for their mental health.

If you think you are a lucky person who has good people around you to take care of you, congratulations! But I will still encourage you to take responsibility for your mental health by yourself because you must be prepared for the time when there will be nobody around you to uplift you when you are down.

And if you’re someone who feels unlucky because there is a lack of caring people in your life, change your perspective. Think that you are lucky because you can take care of yourself and are not dependent on anyone to be happy. Take responsibility proudly and make yourself happy— Perspective is everything.

Here are some keys that are important for your mental health.

▶ Do meditate and spend time alone; understand your body and mind. Align your body and mind in one place.

▶ Eat healthily, party yourself, make your favourite food, and enjoy.

▶ Adopt healthy habits such as reading books, watching healthy content, and consuming content that can improve your vision of your body, soul, and mind.

▶ Surround yourself with healthy people with healthy mindsets who can add value to your life.

▶ Cut off with the people who make you feel bad in any way. Don’t allow anyone to impact your mental health negatively.

▶ Do self-care, as it is magic to boost mental health when someone is low in energy.

Wrapping it Up

Things work differently for everyone. I share what I feel can improve my mental health because these are the things that work well for me.

Find out what works well for you. It could be going outside, spending time with animals, doing your favourite thing, or whatever activity you enjoy.

The sole purpose of this writing was to make people understand that mental health is your responsibility; nobody cares about it. We are all burdened with lots of responsibilities, so no one is free to take responsibility for your mental health.

Take it on a positive note, and accept that you have to take responsibility to make yourself happy and peaceful.
