Overthinking.

This is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever thought about. We, over- thinkers make small aspects and issues immense. I know it’s hard to change your way of thinking but still we can minimize the chance right? If we don’t work on it, it will get way too depressing and can also turn into a mental disease and I bet you don’t want this to happen.

Let’s get familiarize with some tips or techniques which might help you.

Distract your self.

This is the least we can do for a startup to this heavenly step for our soul’s peace and prosperity.

Whenever you’re tossing, pondering over your thoughts which you find depressing, irritating just distract your self like involving yourself in some activities, hobbies etc.

  • Cooking something.
  • Drawing, painting beautiful and calming things.
  • Doing some workouts, Etc.
  • Listen to music.
  • Cuddling with a pet.

Take a deep breath.

When people talk about breathing exercises I usually found them funny, how can this affect you BUT when they say it works then it works.

Whenever you feel that you are going to get invaded by some disturbing thoughts find a calming place, just close your eyes and take a deep breath. Try calming your self by placing your hand on your stomach and heart and see how they move as you breathe.

Question your thoughts.

Sit somewhere peaceful and question your self why are they disturbing? Are they even that serious to ponder over this much? How long will it last? How to minimize the duration? How it makes you feel? Do you feel guilty, anxious, disturbed? Will it affect my life in any sense? If no then why think that much? Are they physical or spiritual?

Write this all in a note pad or any paper. This can help you to really understand the cause of such nuisance which is going in your head.

Discover.

Discover new things, new people, new friends. Make yourself interested or busy in those things which don’t remind you BUT help you forget your issues. Try helping people, discover a new quality in your self. Try working on your character. Make yourself busy in different things.

Meditate.

Meditation is a practice where an individual use a technique which leads to self awareness, mind calmness, focusing and mindfulness.

Whenever you start ruminating just meditate. It will help a lot.

Some calming meditation techniques include

  • Breathing focus.
  • Guided imaginary.
  • Yoga, tai chi and qigong.

Get close to nature.

Nature is calming. Greenery, flowers the earthly scent this all is enough to make you feel peaceful.if you have a park nearby go there, find a quiet spot with no one but plants all around you and try meditating there if you are possible to do so then great!

Talk it out. Share.

Don’t suffer alone! I’ll get hard for you to get over those rumination. If it really start to piss you off that much that you reached this much state of crying then talk to your close ones, it can be your friends, parents, siblings any elder anyone just the whom you feel comfortable in sharing with. Listen to their advice and try to act upon them.

Seek guidance.

If nothing of these works try seeking guidance of therapists, psychologists or councilors immediately before it becomes too depressing that you feel like quitting. They will help you with your thoughts and how to act accordingly.

Ok, these were some tips I found useful for over thinkers but if, unfortunately you say that Im still depressed then baby leave it on time.

After every winter

spring arrives.

When Winter passes, spring arrives.

This means eventually as time passes by I hope if it wouldn’t get over then maybe fade away. Right? Don’t worry take a deep breath and move. Never loose hope.
