Pokémon STOP!

Yes, I put the name on the title to get more people to click on this. So that we could all save some time for ourselves from this supposed “mayhem”.

I could have still put the title as “10 reasons Pokémon should stop” or “10 things you can learn from Pokémon”. I almost did. I saved me from myself.

90% of the world does not care or know about Pokémon [No I am not going to tell you what this app is about. Help yourself]. And there is no real reason we should. So please give us a break.

WTF is Pokémon GO, really?

WTF should I care? Give me one simple reason.

Why do you keep filling the feed everywhere I go ? On Medium. On Product Hunt. On twitter. Everywhere. Why?

Silicon Valley geeks — please get your act straight. Stop shitting people with stuff that rest of the world will not give 2 paisas for. You don’t want us to shit you about Bollywood or being victims of terror right? Then be good at your end.

Stop saying stupid shit like Pokémon GO is the next biggest thing. It has just 5 million downloads on Android where 80% mobile user base reside. Last counting there are 1.4 billion devices which makes market share as 0.35 %. And don’t even get me started on why the ios numbers don’t even matter, in the large scheme of things.

Stop ranting about apps that do not add value to most people. You like something go ahead. Immerse yourself. Run around half or full naked. But stop immersing rest of the world with it. Creating blog after blog. Video after video. The real mayhem is you, not the app.

For people who are crazy about the app and go around with your mobile phones on your faces — rest of us have real jobs to do in our lives. So excuse us if we don’t give a shit about Pokémon.

I know some people just want to get off on the trend that is going. Who the hell in their right minds would lose the chance on something like this? [Feel free to include me in this list]. I understand. I really do. But its been almost a week. So stop it. Please. For Pete’s sake.

If you really care, there are things rest of the world want to continue their debate on. Like the killings in Bangladesh. Or what is happening in Kashmir. Or what is happening in Dallas. Please let us have the conversation. Right now you are behaving like those crazy kids around the block who’s playing music with volume turned up so much high. Nobody gives a fuck, okay?
