As a result of aggressive military actions by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the vast majority of European countries have imposed tough political and economic sanctions: airspace has been closed for Russian aviation, a ban has been imposed on the export of Russian goods and raw materials, and the world’s largest brands are closing their production in the Russian Federation or leaving the Russian market.

These processes will affect manufacturers of IPTV/OTT equipment. For example, European users of set-top boxes from the Russian company TVIP may lose access to firmware update servers, and due to the economic isolation of the Russian Federation from other countries, technical support will become unavailable. This will lead to problems related to the stable operation of devices.

Likewise, users of set-top boxes from Formuler’s distributor in the USA may find themselves in the same situation as one of the company’s investors, Vitaly Kulimov, is a citizen of the Russian Federation.

Please remember that the purchase of Russian-made goods is an investment in its economy and army, directly contributing to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
