Stationery Organizer out of Stationery Waste.

If you work in an office, you know how easy it can be to waste paper products. While going through your day, you are likely unaware of exactly how much you are using in terms of stationery, post-its, cups and other items throughout the day. This can be a problem both for the environment and the business itself- why frequently spend money on items that people are barely using before being tossed away?

Here, in this project I have tried to reuse and prevent squandering office stationery.

Items I collected from the office waste to reuse:

1. Used pens
2. Used papers
3. Newspapers
4. Punch hole waste
5. Cartons
6. Card boards
7. Plastic cups with lid

Auxiliary Needed:

1. Compostable adhesives: Compostable adhesives are a sub-set of biodegradable adhesives. Unlike biodegradable adhesives, compostable adhesives are broken down in a compost pile environment. Designed to work in our existing waste remediation systems, these adhesives leave no harmful residue or waste behind once fully composted. The resulting compost will then be used to improve and fertilize the soil.

Sketched Ideas For Organizers:

1.Pen Stand

(Using Old Newspapers)

This is a pen stand made out of used newspapers. Small V shaped units are made and 3 strips of 20 units each are made and pasted one on another. For the base Lids of plastic cups are used.

2. Drawers for files and Accessories

(Using Cartons)

This is the stand drawer made out of cartons where files and accessories can be put easily. The drawers can move in and out.

3. File Stand

(Using Card boards)

These are the 2 ideas of file stand made out of card boards (cutting, pasting and screwing) the second idea is where the board is at the back and can be used for putting post its and pasting other necessary stuff.

4. Pen Holder

(Using Used Pens and Used Papers)

Pen holder made of used pens and used papers (multiple layers) and on the inside holder divisions are made and an extra pockets to put important papers.

5. Coasters

(Resin and punch hole waste)

This is the coaster made of resin and between the layers of resin punch hole units are put for aesthetic purpose and to give it a little more hardness.
