What’s special about MX linux, and why it becomes more popular.

MX Linux is a cooperative venture between the antiX and former MEPIS communities, using the best tools and talents from each distro. It is a midweight OS designed to combine an elegant and efficient desktop with simple configuration, high stability, solid performance and medium-sized footprint.

The development of MX Linux 19 continues at a rapid pace as the second public beta enters the testing phase. This build, labelled as “beta 2.1”, imports security fixes from the just-released Debian 10.1 and includes various usability improvements:

What’s new in 2.1 beta?

All new XFCE 4.14

As per the XFCE development roadmap, the major goal of XFCE 4.14 was to port all core modules and components to GTK3 from GTK2 and GDBus. Due to this migration, users can experience more faster and polished UI experience with XFCE 4.14.
