Seven Caged Tigers

Like seven caged tigers is my love,

a spectacle,

ferocious, wild, docile, contained,

roaring passion for all to see,

for all to admire from afar…

And unfed, each tiger must eat its brother,

for hunger is quickly satisfied with flesh,

eat and eat until the all consuming tiger

lays alone,

slowly dying of its starving passion.
