During this semester, I have seen this “pressure” passed on to the students. Unfortunately, many schools pressure educators to meet the standards (especially now with the common core standards, high expectations, state testing, etc.) that without noticing they pass this pressure to their students. Students notice and feel the pressure and that’s when educators should hear their voices and find a way to release that pressure. For instance, educators could be asking themselves those helpful questions asking if they are providing not only a good learning environment but also taking in consideration their students feelings and behavior in regards to the instruction.
