The Tricolor Flag Of Proud Nation India

Our country India is the only leading country in the list of Developing nations. It’s growth in every aspect has become a benchmark for all the other developing nations whether in the field of Education, Economy, Technology, Defense or any other sector which could be thought of. Rest of the Developing nations have fixed India in their mind as their role model. They look up to us also for their Self Motivation. Our Nation is a proud nation and our head is always held high. But as we know, nothing interesting is ever completely one-sided. There are always two sides of a coin, The same is in the case of our country. It may look like a living paradise but what is not known to most of the outsiders is that India is home for many pits and potheads in roads and highways. It might look like an ideal developing country but as an insider the opinion somewhat changes while in case of Roadways. We have a excellent potential but the use of our resources is not done in the proper manner.

Most of the Indian Roads are covered with these footpath vendors or beggars which makes them even more congested.

The roads of India are a spot on it’s beauty in the same way as there are dark pits in the crust of Moon. The similarity in these both are they degrade the beauty of the beholder. No matter whether it is an highway, a normal road, a street or a expressway you must expect a bumpy ride either for you full journey and if not then still for for a while in between. One of the major reasons for the damage of roads in India is overloading . You may not know but the road network of India is gigantic and is known to be just after the road network of USA. Bad road conditions are nothing new to India and the problem is being addressed since many years.

The budgets sanctioned by the government can lead to these roads.

Although the government is regularly passing certain bills and budgets every now and then for the betterment of roads but due to the devil named “Corruption” which exists in our system from a long time the expected effect is nowhere to be seen. Due to this corruption the budgets becomes 1/4 or 1/5 it’s original figure. And even if the budget somehow manages to reach in full figure then all the basic formalities and paperwork further delays it so much that the reform again remains undone. A strong focus is required in this topic not only because they depict a bad image of our country but also because every year more than 1,50,000 people lose their lives due to road accidents. Which if calculated on a daily basis accounts to 400 people dying per day. These roads have proved to become less of a transport medium and more of a serial killer for many people. Ever and anon there is a sad cover story of innocent lives lost while traveling via road. All kinds of media whether print or electronic are these days full of these reports. If the government acts properly then not only India will get a clean image but several innocent lives can also be saved from their sudden demise.
