- People like having their picture taken. When flattered people will do anything. They get to go home with the experience of being asked to model, the photographer has a cool shot. Win win.
- You can people watch for hours as a photographer. Instead of them just being people, they become works of art and it is on you to capture that.
- Berwick street is basically the coolest street in London. Not only is it full with the most eccentric people, it has a lot of music history. Oasis’ most famous almost cover was shot there. The street seemed to have not aged in decades (well accept for a few trendy restaurants) and you can still find odd little shops and quaint pubs.
- Even though we seem to think we can do everything with our phones and Apple likes to sell us so, they have nothing on cameras. Being able to deliberately set your device to create the perfect shot will never work, not even on an iPhone.
- City photography is very similar to mindfulness. You are aware of the world around, pay attention to it, look for the beauty in what you come across.
