As we mentioned in the previous article “Be Noticed as a Certified Person | Part 1”, Becoming certified is the credibility you need to grow with your career and keep going with the tech trends.

In this Part, we will walk through my journey of getting 3 of the top 2020 Cloud Certifications with less than 1 year, How to prepare your self to pass the exams with some tips and tricks!

General Certification Prerequisites

Before starting your Certifications path, There are some skills you need to consider:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience working in one of the cloud providers to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Able to demonstrate your ability to design, manage, and implement applications using tools and services on the Cloud platform.
  • Understanding and analyzing scenario-based questions which are the theme of the exams.

AWS Certifications | The Beginning

After 1 year of starting my career as a Cloud Solution Architect and DevOps Engineer, I took the decision to start seeking AWS certifications to evaluate my knowledge and experience, since the company I worked for was using AWS as a Cloud provider, and my whole experience was with AWS.

2 months later, I successfully finished all AWS Associate level certificates.

Do not distract yourself!

Always have one source of truth while you are preparing.
I recommend you to get your preparation from A cloud guru, Their instructors are AWS community champions, and their courses will provide you a full theoretical knowledge for the certificates needs with practice exams.

You can check A Cloud Guru Discussion Forums; which provides a hive of activity, full of engineers helping each other learn Cloud and prepare for exams.
