Paying for Other People’s Life Choices
Rosie Spinks

I’ve been going to a looot of weddings and I get this feeling. I also travel for most of them, and I don’t usually get a gift. I try to only pay for things that I’m happy to pay for, and say no to the things that I know will cause resentment (I have said no to being a bridesmaid and have decided not to attend some events, for example.) Last month, one of my best friends got married and my gift to her was a spa-party. She didn’t ask for it (I did ask her if she wanted me to do it, of course), I was glad to do it and it was fun.
