“… Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.” — MATTHEW 10:5–6 (NIV)

He gave them very clear instructions. God was sending them to a specific people group(the Israelites) and he did not expect them to go elsewhere no matter how ‘noble’ it may seem.

God knew that he would raise others later on to go to other nations. Instead of me wondering about what I have not been given to do or what other people are doing, I can focus on what God wants me to do.

God has called me and he is sending me to his children who don’t have a place they can call home. Those who live on the streets, in brothels, prisons, those who if they were to escape from their abusive environments they would not have a place to go or a place to call home. Those are the children God is sending me to. I don’t need to worry about other ‘needy people groups’ because He is raising and sending people to minister and serve them in His perfect timing.
