Makesto v2 for iPad

We launched Makesto last May: Introducing Makesto for iPad. The BHAG or Big Hairy Audacious Goal is to help children make their own animated videos, entirely using their own doodles, animations and voice. We have seen a great bit of interest from school teachers and parents with more than 25000 downloads. We also received several reviews that resonate with our goal:

Introducing Makesto v2 for iPad

One of our features was to enable parents to share stories publicly, so we could foster a community around child-crafted stories. Over the last year, we have realised that this is a big concern and a password-gate to share content was still not enough for a child focussed app.

As a result, the biggest change in Makesto v2 is to rid the app of all public links and user profiles.

Makesto v2 allows you to produce beautiful animated stories using your own drawings, photos, text, voice and animation effects. Features include:

1. A canvas that allows composition of a rich and expressive visual with various tools:
   - A beautiful and simple to use drawing tool for unlimited self-expression.
   - A set of customisable emojis for ease of creation.

2. Easy to add animation effects that bring your story to life.

4. Export a video of your story for viewing by anyone.
5. Email your story to others as a file, which can be edited with this app.
