Adding MetaMask to Axie Infinity

A step by step guide to add your Ethereum wallet

Intro

Welcome Lunacian! This is a short guide for how to add an Ethereum wallet to your Axie Infinity account. By the end of this guide, you’ll have an Ethereum account paired with your Ronin wallet.

Note: This guide was written for the Mighty Genesis Pass launch but is kept very general to help others as well.

1. Have your Ethereum wallet ready

If you don’t have an Ethereum wallet yet, you can go ahead and download the MetaMask wallet extension here: https://metamask.io/

Once you have MetaMask installed, you can create a new wallet like this:

2. Login to Axie Infinity

Log in to https://app.axieinfinity.com and navigate to the Account Settings. You will see this screen below:

3. Attach MetaMask

Click on Attach MetaMask on the right side (in orange font). This will ask you to connect your MetaMask wallet.

Please follow the instructions and connect the wallet.

4. Sign with Ronin Wallet

To initiate the pairing, you need to sign from your Ronin wallet by clicking on “Confirm”.

5. Sign with MetaMask Wallet

To finish the pairing, you need to sign from your MetaMask wallet by clicking on “Sign”.

6. Done!

Once everything is signed, you should see your Ethereum address added as on the image below.

If you see the screen above, congratulations!! You’ve successfully added your Ethereum address to your Axie Infinity account. 🎉🎉🎉
