My affirmations always work for me
You have probably heard many people say: “Say your affirmations” and then you of course tried it. But what happened? Nothing.
Here are my methods to make affirmations actually work for you:
- personalise them for you
- gratitude
- think and then feel it
This post guides you through these methods so as a result you will know how to actually get what you really want.
Personalise them for you
First of all, “I am rich” probably doesn’t work for you because it is too general.
Ask yourself this: “Why do I want to be rich/ what am I going to do with that money?” You have to find out YOUR reason for wanting to be rich (or the thing you want to manifest into your life) . To understand this further read my post on self- examination:
Your answers might look like this: I want to be rich to be more free and therefore happier, I want to help others, I want to enable my family the rich life they always deserved, etc.
Possible affirmations moulded from these causes
- “My richness / money/ wealth helps me to act more freely and feel happy”
- “Through my wealth I am helping others”
- “My family and me are so rich because we deserve to live in luxury”
Gratitude
Gratitude brings us to higher frequency. But why does this matter?
In the book “Breaking the habit of being yourself” by Dr Joe Dispenza it is stated that an atom (of what everything is made of) is mostly energy and nearly no matter. You cannot manifest with matter, but with energy.
If you vibrate at a lower frequency (e.g. when you feel depressed, envious, angry, etc.), you get “heavier”. I can relate to this because whenever I feel sad, my body feels like a rock. Do you also relate?. Therefore, manifesting/ attracting is harder and feels heavier.
However, when you vibrate at a higher frequency (e.g. when you feel happy, joy, love, gratitude, etc.), you are lighter. This helps you to tune in with the energy of the atom, enabling yourself to manifest easier. Genuine gratitude catapults you directly into that state of easeness.
Possible affirmations involving gratitude:
- “I am so grateful to have so much money that helps me to act more freely and feel happier”
- “I am grateful that I am able to help others through my wealth”
- “I am so thankful that my family and me are living in luxury”
One tip: Let the universe/ God know that you love your life and are grateful for it! You will be rewarded
Think and then feel it
Just thinking about something won’t bring you far. As your body is part of you, you should activate it. What good is something if you can’t feel it anyway? In order to manifest/ attract something (e.g. money, confidence, love) our body has to feel in accordance to it, even before its occurence. FEEL your richness, feel your happiness, feel love.
How are you going to feel after you got that thing? If you cannot imagine how you might feel like, compare it to past successes/blessings. I guarantee you, if you fuse your thinking (like affirmations) with feelings, personalise them for you and show gratitude, you are more likely to get your desire!
