Ozone Therapy
I have been absent from my website and blog but that will now be corrected. For the past few months I have been distracted by a surge in my interest in the better management of my health through natural medicines. At Finca Tranquila, my organic farm, I have planted Neem, and Moringa trees, two plants which offer to us fabulous health benefits. If you are not aware of the benefit to health of Neem and Moringa, I strongly recommend you look them up on your search engine. Having learned of the benefits of guanabana (sour-sap), i have added another thirty trees to the four that I panted ten years or so ago.
My other major step to better health has come from taking ozone therapy twice a week, other than when I was away from Panama for three weeks in the US. Ozone therapy is taboo in much of the USA where its remarkable curing ability could upset the profits of the Pharmaceutical corporations. Thanks to ozone, my health has benefited beyond all expectations. A hideous elbow infection which was not responding to antibiotics has been eliminated and a six month long chest infection that had me whizzing like a spinning top has also disappeared.

From now on I will pick up on my blogging. It be directed to sharing my quirky and not so quirky ideas for having a positive and upbeat life in what is often referred to as “Our Golden Years” but which for many is not much to rejoice about. All of us….we octogenarians and those older and younger than us… are swimming in a raging current of change; change that gains increasing momentum and sweeps away what was familiar yesterday and which itself will be obsolete tomorrow.
When caught in a fast flowing current the trick is to swim with the current while easing to quieter waters. This way we can take the essentials and the best of change without having to be involved in the cult fads of the young.
In my book “Granddad in the Back” I emphasize the importance of stepping out of stressful situations and avoiding walking into new ones. In writing this blog, I am going to keep the effort stress-free. One of the benefits of being old is that you no longer have to please anyone. As long as you don’t do something hideous which would embarrass your children and grandchildren, you are in the clear. Wow for once in my life I am not worrying about pleasing someone else!
