Hello and welcome to week 10 of my blog.

What did you do this past week?

This past week I managed to catch up on homework I had in other classes. I had a very difficult homework that I had to get done and somehow finished it. I spent my entire Friday working on it and it was a great relief when I finally completed it. I’ve been a little bit behind in some of my other classes so it was nice to not have so many things to do.

What’s in your way?

This week I did not have anything in my way. I felt very relaxed and had a lot of time to do my work. There were no real challenges this week, however, this coming week, I have multiple homeworks and, once again, two projects due on Thursday. This past week was the calm before the storm and next week’s blog is going to have numerous challenges.

What will you do next week?

Next week I am going to be absolutely swamped with work. I have homework in multiple classes that are going to take a lot of time. I have to meet with my group to complete the project for this class. And I have to meet with my group to complete the project for my other class. I have a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to do it, but I think I will be able to get everything done.

What was your experience of SQL?

I have taken a database class in the past, so I already knew about most of the SQL stuff. There were things that I did not know about, like the sub queries. Those are very powerful and I will remember them the next time that I am writing SQL. Personally, I liked this week’s in-class HackerRank challenges because I had already done exercises like those before and it was all review.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week is to make time for friends and family. It is very easy to get caught up in the swing of things and be bogged down by all of the work. It is important to take your mind off and have time to yourself. College does not last forever and it should be enjoyed!

Thanks for reading my blog and have a good week.
