Failure is the endearing theme in Nigeria and only a revolution can save us.
Until then — Nigerians remain in denial, frozen in time or stuck in neutral.
And those poor girls remain lost. They are never coming back.

I agree that those girls are never coming back. It is sad and a mystery. I disagree with you about the failure. It will probably require a revolution to overcome Boko Haram, but I think the human spirit always wins in the end; we’ve seen this happen countless times in our history. My fear for Nigeria is if Boko Haram begin to gain control of the economy or wealth in some significant way. Then they will be a worse menace to Nigeria and that’ll be when the people will rise up against them (and by people I also mean the politicians). For now, they aren’t doing so ‘much’ damage — their terror is still quite far removed from the majority of people, so not so much a danger. Unfortunately, this is how things work for people to really take action against an evil force.
