Losing Sight & Blocking Views
Ryan Giordano

This is something I would love to see you elaborate more on, seeing as it’s an idea I agree with, for the most part. I agree (even as an avid user of social media) that frequent sharing can be equated to a need for acceptance or “being seen,” but I’m curious if you believe it’s always a need based out of insecurity?

Are we to assume that all consistent SM sharing is based out of a lack of self-confidence? Because when I read this sentence, I did consider myself, and I do believe that I share on instagram often. But you and everyone who has ever met me knows that, if anything, I’m too confident haha. So then what does that mean for me? What else could drive that phenomena? I want to hear your thoughts if you’re willing to expand on the theory.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
