Right on the mark! I think that most people use the internet as a veneer to say what ordinarily, they wouldn’t have the courage to say. Obviously, if we were standing before a crowd of millions of people, intent on listening to what we’re saying, we’d be careful to say the right things and not to make mistakes. But when we’re writing to millions of people who cannot see us, we feel like we can pretty much say anything and get away with it. In other words, the internet truly encourages the mindset that refuses to admit ignorance because people online, to a certain extent, allows users to be irresponsible in what they say!
