Sorry if was unclear. You could register online I believe starting in April. The campaigns and the NV Dems website had lists of people who had become delegates and alternates. It’s actually still on the site. Even if you had registered online, you still had to pick up your Credentials on either Friday night or Saturday morning by 10 am. You could also register in person at that time. Once you picked up your Credentials, you were included in the count. Although it was not said, one could leave without affecting the count — which is the most significant aspect of the State Convention.

Having said that, it was important to stay in order to vote on the other stuff.

By non-attending, it means that these 50 people never even tried to get their Credentials — either on Friday or Saturday. In fact, the Sanders campaign had a significant number of no-shows. This is the key quote from info put out by NV Dems —

  • Clinton only had 27 delegate positions vacant on Saturday. Sanders left 462 vacant. Clinton filled 98 percent of her available delegate slots at the State Convention, and Sanders only filled 78 percent of his available delegate slots.

Hope this helps!
