Yes, it’s true, this panther is magical

Do you like comics? If so, how old are you? 7, 10, 15? And if you’re no longer a kid, do you believe that the illustrated story can help you return to childhood? At least for an hour? OK, just don’t miss the new comics by the Belgian artist Brecht Evens.

This is, in general, the story about the girl Christina, who was terribly grieving because her kitten died, but then from the bottom drawer of the dresser in her room appeared a panther, who introduced himself as Prince Panteria. So the girl became more cheerful, and this is just the beginning

My acquaintance with “Panther” was nо less joyful than for Christina. The most unusual trick of the book is that the author has managed to fit all important things not even in detail, but in the way how everything was drawn. It is such a dizzying fairy-tale-trip where objects and creatures endlessly change colors and style of painting, what resembling an unstable world through the eyes of a child.

This is especially noticeable in the Panther itself, which seems to mutate according to a textbook on the history of art.

The comic is quite creepy but terribly beautiful and with an entirely unpredictable ending.

Are intrigued? Don’t delay YOUR meeting with “Panther”!
