Half Way There

#30DaysOfMeditation

Can’t believe I’m halfway there already. Yes, fifteen days over. Fifteen more to go. That doesn’t mean I’ll stop and after that. The whole point of this challenge is to get into a habit of meditation. And I can see that happening. Once I’ve built this habit, I’ll move on to the next one, maybe do another 30 Day Challenge.

But any way, back to meditation. It’s been great so far. Not everyday has been easy of course. Some days I’ve fought with my urge to fall asleep during meditation, other days I’ve had to fight my urge to not think about plans for the day, that fight with my friend, what I’m going to do over the weekend, or a myriad other not-so-important problems and plans in my life. But the important thing is, I’ve done it everyday. And I will continue to. And I can feel the benefits. I can see myself becoming more mindful and more aware of my choices- as a result, I’ve also been making healthier and better choices in my daily life.
