I specifically liked the description of endless LOOP of a mindset to improve gender diversity getting bogged down by realities and the intent loses to the content.
I personally am a die-hard advocate of healthy gender mix in any organization / project — I come from IT industry and 4 out of my 5 jobs so far had Women leaders, learnt a hell lot from each one of them.
Having said that, I also strongly feel that the onus is on Women in the industry more to bring a shift in the status quo, if at all. Unfortunately, have seen women exploiting their positions more than men (no offence intended) — which they can actually use to improve the overall mix by creating the overall culture/environment conducive for women to be accepted and succeed.
