200 Litre Diesel Spill In Tameside: A Section Of M67 Has Been Closed

After a 200-litre diesel spill, a section of the M67 in Tameside has been closed. Two lanes remain shut at the scene.

The westbound carriageway was closed last night after a crash. Highways England said that there is a spillage on the road due to the incident. This morning(Thursday), a section of the M67 is currently still closed.

The roads are being inspected by Highways England. In a tweet, Highways England North West said: “The #M67 westbound #J4 (#HydeRoad #A57) to #J3 (#Hyde #A57) has been REOPENED following the earlier spillage however 2 lanes will remain closed until the carriageway can be inspected.”

1000 Cannabis Plants Uncovered In Bury

Officers found around 1000 cannabis plants at a flooded property on Silver Street, Bury. It is estimated that the value of cannabis is around £1 million.

The warrant was executed on Monday 16 August 2021 after police received a call from colleagues at GMFRS. Officers attended to the property and found five rooms and a loft being used for the production of around 1000 cannabis plants.

The plants have been destroyed. Enquiries are ongoing.No arrests have been made, yet.

Police have released the photos of a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen in south Manchester. Monika Molnar, also known as Amy is missing from Halifax in West Yorkshire.

Officers said that she was last seen on Greenbrow Road in Whytenshaew at around 9.10 pm on Tuesday, August 10. Police and her family are increasingly worried about her. Officers put out a missing appeal for the high-risk teenager on Sunday evening.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a number of burglaries in Trafford. Officers from Trafford District executed a warrant at an address in Media City as a part of the investigation.

The first burglary happened on 8 July in the Urmston area. Four mountain bikes that worth around £2,500 was taken from the rear of a property.

A man has been arrested for theft of multiple electronic goods from Amazon. Police said that a large quantity of stock including high-value tech and mobile phone products were stolen from an Amazon distribution centre in Little Hulton.

Officers received the report of the theft on Wednesday 4 August 2021. After the investigation, a man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of theft and money laundering.

A 24-year-old man has been jailed for his part in a high-value car robbery. Elliot Foster stole more than six cars that include an Audi, BMW and limited edition Fiat. It is estimated that the cars that he stole, worth around £84,000 in total.

A man from Oldham has been jailed for a minimum of 17 and a half years for stabbing his girlfriend to death. After he killed his girlfriend, he left her body in their flat for around three weeks.
