A Summer at Coding Boot camp

So I’m about to embark upon an adventure that will no doubt be most excellent. It may not be an epic journey through space and time, but I will be starting coding boot camp at The Iron Yard in Washington, DC next week.

Next Monday (May 18th) is when my front end engineering classes officially start and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t totally psyched (but also a bit nervous). The pace will be quick and we will cover A LOT of material in a short amount of time, but the thing I’m most nervous about is meeting the rest of the people in my cohort (and yes, I know that’s kind of dorky and vaguely reminiscent of kindergarten. Or high school.).

And there’s so much to do to get ready. Like finishing up all the work for my current clients (I currently work as a freelance designer).

But all in all, I’m excited for what’s coming.
