I really respect this, as a fairly new PGP’r I first heard of these moves (most notably the separation of one of my personal favorite content producers) via the comments section of a recent article.
I’m glad you took the time out to wear your heart on your sleeve and took responsibility for your actions, regardless of whether they were favorable or not.
I’ve been fired before and it is not pleasant, but looking back, it was one of the best things that happened to me. I had outgrown my position at the time, capped prospects for advancement and had lost all interest in the position. It doesn’t seem like this is EXACTLY what happened with your company, however I believe that there is always a bright-side to unfortunate events.
Sometimes it’s a blessing in disguise, and at the end of the day, those fit for survival, will find a way to end up back on their feet. I believe those affected by the events this past week are part of that group, and will be just fine. As for the readers, you can’t satisfy everyone.
