As I reflect back on 44 years gone by, I stumble upon a few things to ponder. Here’s one – Though moderately successful in job, I am a failure when it comes to taking care of my health. My body is in a state of shambles. I have diabetes, cholesterol, gout, thyroid and host of other bodily issues. Some intherited due to genetics, some due to my own wrong doings. I think more than anything else, more than your job, your near and dear ones, material things things we crave for, it is your health which should be of prime importance. I might not be able to press a reset button on my body issues but I think we should all try to help our kids grow into healthy men and women. Our parents did our best to help us where we are and we are greatly thankful to them but they didn’t have the resources to help them more. Today, Internet is accessible to each and everyone of us. We have tools and medium to stay informative and up to date and connected with our friends and family across the country and world. Using the information and data available to us, we can do wonders to our kids and give them a brighter and rosy tomorrow. I haven’t done my best and I want to do it starting today on my 44th. You all can take a vow too.
