A blueprint for acceptance and immense personal transformation

Few things cause more emotional hurt than romantic rejection. When someone makes it clear they aren’t interested in us, it can lead us to feel as if we aren’t good enough. Whether you’ve been blown off, dumped, or friend-zoned — it’s a miserable feeling. The whole experience can leave you profoundly wounded and asking some challenging questions such as:

Left unchecked, these thoughts can quickly mutate into limiting beliefs that consume your being and taint the lens through which you view the world. …

An unbiased look at the most popular theory of soulmates

You’ve met someone, and it’s different. From the moment you laid eyes on this person, you felt a sense of familiarity and magnetic attraction. The more you get to know them, the more similarities you discover. It’s uncanny how they share your weaknesses, and it’s like you’ve met your mirror image.

Compelled by the uniqueness of this meeting, you search for answers. That’s how you find it — Twin Flame theory. It’s a concept you’ve never heard of, but it describes everything you are going through — like soulmates on steroids. You know it sounds ridiculous, but part of you wonders whether it could be true. …

The psychological effect preventing you from moving on — and how to overcome it

Eventually, everyone falls for a person they can’t have. It could be someone who is already taken, a friend who doesn’t feel the same way, or a person from a wildly different culture. It’s a shitty feeling, but it happens to all of us.

Unfortunately for most, moving on isn’t that easy. No matter what our friends say or what seems logical, we struggle to let go. Often, our emotions get the better of us, and we become stuck obsessing over what went wrong and things we could change. …

A four-step process to ensure your time will come

Sometimes, you don’t get the results you want or deserve in life. Despite having a clear goal and plenty of ambition, it can seem like everything is going against you.

We’re all human, and emotions frequently get the best of us. It’s easy to become frustrated by a lack of progress or even compare yourself to others.

If you’re not getting the results you want — that’s OK. While it may feel like the end of the world, it’s a part of your unique journey on this planet. The challenge is to avoid getting caught in the negativity of your current situation at the expense of action. …

A simple and repeatable process from someone who’s made an extra $10,000 this year

You’re an avid reader, but you’ve had enough of consuming. Writing is something you’ve always wanted to do, and you’ve got endless ideas to share.

The only problem? You work a full-time job and don’t know how to start.

Fortunately, there is a simple process you can follow that I am going to share today. See, I had the same concerns as you. How was I going to write when I worked an intense full-time job? When you work long hours, and you’re always under stress, the idea of committing pen to paper seems daunting and unmanageable. We have commitments outside of our jobs, and our energy is limited, no matter our ambition. …

The Office — NBC

Three lessons we learned about love and relationships from one of TVs most iconic couples

Warning: Spoilers ahead — don’t read on if you haven’t watched all the series and intend to do so!

The Office (US) was one of the most popular sitcoms ever, spanning 201 episodes between 2005–2013. While the show is praised for genius creations such as delusional boss Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and eccentric beet-farmer/salesman Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson), it is perhaps best known for the fairy-tale relationship between two popular characters — Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), and Pam Beasley (Jenna Fischer).

Throughout the nine seasons, we witness an incredible arc as their friendship turns to love, marriage, and eventual parenthood. Along this journey, we see the couple navigate many situations that we all face in our dating lives; the agony of falling for a friend, the pain of rejection, the challenges of marriage, and the enduring power of love. …

The psychology behind the oldest technique in dating and your guide on how to deal with it

While hot and cold behavior is amongst the oldest of dating tactics, it remains one of the most effective. When someone gives us mixed signals, it can drive us to levels of obsessive-compulsive analysis that leave all our friends cringing and worried about our sanity.

We’ve all experienced this phenomenon at play when chasing someone we like. At first, everything is blissful, you have their attention and the signs of attraction are clear — you’re elated and bathing in euphoria. But the next day, things take a turn for the worse. …

The exact training program and diet I used to gain 2.5kg of muscles and lose 3kg of fat

Perhaps the most debated question in fitness is whether you can build muscle and lose fat simultaneously. Some believe that beyond the beginner stage, it’s unrealistic unless you have chemical assistance. Others are adamant the holy grail is possible, but they often have a product that will conveniently aid your quest. Who can you trust in the world of fitness these days?

As a so-called hard-gainer, I’ve always been skeptical that you can chase two rabbits at once. Making positive changes to my body is a continual struggle, and I naturally tend towards the unholy combination of accumulating fat and losing muscle. …

The Russian program that delivers maximum results in minimal time

I hate Bench Pressing — mainly because I suck at it. Despite lifting weights since I was 15, I have never managed to hit that magical two plate lift of 100kg (220lbs). Even Jordan Peterson has accomplished that — it’s embarrassing.

The problem is anytime someone learns I lift weights, I have to answer that dreaded question:

How much ya bench, bro?”

While I cringe every time I hear it, the thought of answering is even worse.

It’s taken me a long time to accept I don’t possess the natural genetics for building muscle and strength — I have a 6.5-inch wrist, and my body somehow manages to be skinny and fat simultaneously. But that hasn’t stopped me from making progress. …

Sometimes you just need to be honest instead of putting yourself through more pain

Not long ago, I was playing agony aunt for a close friend. He had finally told the girl he had been crushing on for months how he felt. Against my advice, he sent her an agonizing three-page WhatsApp message confessing his feelings. He genuinely thought this would work given how he had been the perfect partner in waiting. I still cringe thinking about it, but that’s a topic for another day.

Unsurprisingly, he was forced to endure the dreaded “Let’s be friends speech”. As distraught as he was, he accepted the offer of friendship. …
