I’m Kelsey Manock and This is How I Work

  • Location: Duluth, MN
  • Current Gig: Marketing Major at the Labovitz School of Business and Economics with a double Minor in Economics and Organizational Management
  • One word that describes how you work: Efficient
  • What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Why?: Google, Facebook, Spotify. These tools help me stay connected with others and allow me to listen to music and focus on my work.
  • What’s your best time-saving shortcut/life hack? I always set reminders and write everything down in my planner. I can handle multiple tasks at once, but it helps to have the reassurance of notes to make sure everything has been completed.
  • What everyday things are you better at than everyone else? What’s your secret? I am a good listener, and I love problem solving. I like to help my friends and colleagues when they have issues or just need to vent.
  • What do you listen to while you work? I like to make playlists of my favorite feel good songs, that encourage me to keep working hard.
  • What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? There is no “I” in team. As old as this saying may be it has helped me to work with others and know that it is okay to rely on teammates and use everyone’s strengths to get the job done.
  • Where do you find inspiration and new ideas? I find inspiration and new ideas from my sisters, I look up to them and everything they have accomplished.
  • What’s your favorite quote? “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”- Babe Ruth
