John Oliver roulette, no thank you. But is this is a pretty decent argument for a feed of sorts that takes our (hopefully wide) reading list and does a bit of triage to make sure we don’t have to read Vox’s and Slate’s and Quartz’s repost where one would suffice. But how does it decide which one? And, even with a repost, isn’t there some editorial power that shouldn’t be ceded? For example, imagine the same video under the headline “John Oliver Gets the Horrible State of Prison in America So Right” (which he does) versus “Can You Believe How Wrong Oliver Is?”
