Ergonomics

My lamp that I am going to make must be stable as it is overlooking my dad so if it falls over, it will break so it must be weighted properly and it must be at the right angle so it lights up the area I need it to. If it as the wrong angle it will be a waste as one point of me making the lamp is so I can get it at the right angle. The shape must also be inspired by a 20th century design movement so I must make the lamp inspired by a particular movement. To find the right movement I must research this. My client also asked for the design to be simple but to look modern so I must find a movement that fits his preferences.

Quality assurance and quality control

The lamp that I am going to make must last over 3–4 years as this is an average time for a lamp to last. But if they were willing to pay more it would have to last longer so it must last over a specific amount of time. I must also make sure my lamp doesn’t break easily so I must make it out of reliable materials. The materials must be strong and fir purpose to find the perfect materiel I must research this because if it splinters or breaks it will not fit.
