Gods were created for societies to prosper? What evidence is there to show such a hypothesis? Truth is men have used gods to excuse their own evil actions, that is, if you presuppose gods aren’t real, then the evil behavior of man is his nature and god is a simplified construct in which he can channel those evil behaviors with impunity.
