LONDON, UK, 01 August 2018 — Blockchain mapping startup, Mapcoin, announces amendments to it’s token generation event.
Today we are announcing changes to our MapCoin Token Generation Event.
What has changed?
Our total token supply remains unchanged at one billion tokens. However the allocation of those tokens has slightly altered. We have increased the number of tokens for sales, reduced slightly the number of tokens as rewards, and modified the airdrop and bounty.
The major change is our token valuation. We have reduced our utility token valuation to $0.10 instead of $0.20.

“Wait! What? That means 500 MAP coins is worth $50. Not the original $100 we promised in Airdrop Phase 1!”
That’s right. By dropping our MAP token valuation from $0.20 to $0.10 we have reduced 500 MAP coins from $100 to $50.
But fear not. We’re a kind, caring, honest bunch here at MapCoin and we really value our community of MapCoiners.
So what is better than 500 MAP coins? 1,000 MAP coins!
That’s right, anyone that participated in the Airdrop phase 1 will receive 1,000 MAP coins to meet our $100 utility token valuation.
