Man, I’m really sad that this isn’t in the world (anymore). I remember having a similar idea when I was traveling in Nicaragua and would meet fantastic, local tour guides.

I’m a firm believer in not taking VC money unless absolutely necessary, which may have been the case here. Perhaps there could have been more incremental ramping up to allow costs to scale with revenue. Again, given expectations from the parent company, this may not have been possible.
