Live from Telluride: Matt Damon Shrinks Down In ‘Downsizing’

My hopes for Downsizing were higher than the Colorado mountains you see in the backdrop. Sad to report that Alexander Payne’s social satire — in which Matt Damon shrinks down to five inches in hopes of recalibrating his life — is an overambitious disappointment. Here’s my early reaction from the Telluride Film Festival.
