Absolutely on point. We have spent so much time looking at our own work, like you say the ‘Wow’ factor is depleted, but we look at someone else’s work that we may have just come across and go ‘Oh that’s so, so good’. Whilst they’re looking back thinking the same thing as us.

I think, especially on a personal project, is to just get it out of the door, and then refine later, before you begin to hate it, tire of it, and then start making lots of dumb iterations. When it’s out in the world, you can take a step back and make smaller, more sensible iterations, with a clearer perspective.
