What’s in my bag — Travel edition
Sep 4, 2018 · 2 min read

I’ve been traveling for the past couple of weeks. On most days, I like to adventure out and explore the city, only to come back for dinner or even later. I’m all for packing light, but, I also like to be prepared. What I put in my backpack can mean the difference between a memorable adventure or a miserable day. Before stepping out for the day, I make sure to pack these;
- iPhone.
Navigation, camera, note pad, translator and much more. A wifi connection is all I need to plan my day and stay connected with the world. I keep it on airplane and low battery mode so it lasts all day. - Credit card.
I’m all about that Paypass life. Even if it means getting hit with a few charges along the way. - Wireless headphones.
Essential for solo adventuring. Music, Podcasts, or blocking out the world for a quick nap. - A fresh shirt.
Boys who adventure are boys that sweat. I can’t be living my best life with back sweat. I come prepared. - Nuts.
Probably cashews. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for and adventures aren’t fun when I’m hangry. Emergency snack; check. - A book.
Waiting for a mate. On the bus. When you want to look smart. So many opportunities to pull out a good book. This is what I’m reading right now. - Active wear.
I workout on most days. In a gym or outdoors, I plan for a quick change of clothes. - Basic toiletries.
I like to brush my teeth after breakfast and coffee, and deodorant is always recommended after a workout!
I’m counting on you to bring the sunscreen because I always forget!
