WHY DID I DESIGN IT?

⚡️No one cannot be creative. You just have to trigger your curiosity.

Lately I have been reading a lot about what creativity is, why some people are more creative than others, what drives it…

This is not something recent that came all of a sudden, but something I have been wondering about for a long time.

At first I thought you either have it or you don’t, which I thought I didn’t, but this was far from true. …

Have you ever been driving in the city and felt like parking was impossible?

That’s what Got2Park solves, it shares private parking spots so that people can park easy, fast, and cheap. However, it was in beta phase and they were facing major app and service issues.

At this point “Alpaca Troop” came in. We are Lara, Wontse, and me, Marc, a team up of three professional UX & UI Product Designers who have worked side by side with Got2Park’s Chief technological office (CTO).

Let’s get into the case…

We had 10 days to focus on reducing user frustration and…

Did you know employers lose 17% of new hires in 90 days? and pre-onboarding increases retention 50%?

TimeTent is a new HR web app improving pre-onbaording and onboarding creation. A way to help HR workers in companies by giving them a toolkit to create content through a timeline.

Let’s promote together organic products and good consuming practices 🌱 The organic product and shop finder.

Let me introduce ECOVILLE. This time I have been tasked to come up with a wellness app idea. As a solo UX designer my role in this project has been following a generative research process from interviews to surveys, to later develop a wireframes proposal.

Throughout external research I found out there are 7 types of wellness and I decided to focus on Environmental wellness. My main reason to focus on this topic was the increasing concern among the society about global warming. …

Usability evaluation and redesign

During my Bootcamp experience in one of the first challenges I was asked to decide a destination to visit to, my instant thought here was Japan, I have been wanting to go there with my friends for a long time now and it is one of the countries on earth that can offer a full 360º touristic experience in terms of urban or rural, mountain or seaside, adventures or museums, …

After choosing my desired location I thought of the targets that could possibly want to go to Japan and the ones I had available were…

A media giant named Netflix… Also one of my addictions.

For this exercise I have worked on Netflix, the user flow is the process a user does to watch a tv show. I have decided to work with Netflix because it’s one of the moment companies right now, they have invested in making their app easy for all users to watch content when moving outside their homes. I believe at the beginning one of the best ways to learn UX is copying people who have done amazing work, big companies invest a great deal of resources on that. …

Urban mobility up to the next level!

One of the recent UX exercises I have done, has been about this fictional APP, “Urban Go”. This app helps you find the best possible route whenever you want to move around your city by checking your GPS position with all the available public transports.

The main issue for users is the different amount of public transport tickets the users have to purchase and the process of buying these tickets (queues and all). …

A brief introduction to who I am and how did I end up here…

Not long ago I decided to take a risk and make a change, I decided to undergo for a different professional path. I had always felt drawn to design, and coming from an international business/marketing background I had everything to learn from. Now don’t take me wrong, I did think my prior field was interesting, but I just never felt excited about it or the jobs I could find. …

A fast easy to use and access app to store thoughts with all the tools to conceptualize and rechange whenever, wherever and whatever.

The idea is to create a “Posticks”(notes) wall with superpowers. An app that let’s us create thoughts with video-audio-drawing-text, which can be stored, and used later on whenever we want. I also think it should have two main spaces one private for our ideas, and a second one open source to publish ideas and get help from the community.

Many block notes have similar features. the differentiation though is a simpler design and visual app. Moreover, we…
