On August 8, 8/8, the world shook.
The long awaited Sheet Metal features matured away from being a mere preview to being, full-fledged, production features.
Yes, we now have sheet metal. Rock on!
The Eagle has landed… in Fusion 360
While sheet metal is grabbing most of the attention, we also rolled out an ECAD/MCAD preview. About a year ago, Autodesk acquired Eagle PCB (Cadsoft). It was great news and it is in line with our model.
Since the acquisition, customers were asking for an integration with Fusion 360. We delivered:
Working with the Eagle team, we now have a new ECAD/MCAD experience that will allow you to design PCB layouts, leverage a shared component library between Fusion 360 and Eagle, and link components between the two so that updating changes call happen seamlessly.
