Don’t apologize or admit anything less that superlative execution. It’s lame and it turns people off. I know that bright and cheery seems artificial — and there’s nothing wrong with being truthful and honest — just NOT when it’s the actual positioning and explaining of your effort!

What you’ve got now (above) undercuts the whole thing — before you ever begin. Take it from someone who attempted that kind of honesty for 20 years.
