Design Hell

My life has always been about outsmarting people. Most of the time it works 50% of the time. I’m either the player or the played. I’m just starting to think that’s life in a nutshell.

This blog isn’t about getting people motivated or successful (niether of which I am). It’s a blog about truth and I guess an outlet for what my neurons perceive as “truth.”

That’s the big contradiction here isn’t it? I’m a designer by trade and my craft is literally the art of lying, wether it be making a product look 100 times better than it actually is or using my photoshop skills to forge fake sick notes — I feel my fatal flaw inside is I’m a liar on the outside (aren’t we all) but deep down inside I want to scream the truth.

But that’s not so easy to do is it?

If you go and do that you’re headed for a one way ticket to the insane asylum. Or *shudder* be labeled as an ineffectual/annoying SJW.

Wether that’s bending the truth a little or a lot. Maybe that’s what got me into this hellhole of an industry in the first place. It’s brought me it’s good and brought me its bad.

For you young aspiring designers right now — pay close attention.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
