As an ux/ui designer with experience in working for the fashion industry I can identify myself in your article. Even though we are ‘trained’ to apply the well-known design thinking process to define and solve problems, each market has its own expertise and strategy shouldn’t be forgotten. As a designer I think it’s a common mistake, taking in account some self-analysis dose, to be so focused on a creative, user-centred solution that you forget to think of all the other ‘industry factors’ that influences the success of that particular product/brand. Users first, but insight above. Thanks Steve for inspiring! Cheers!
