Solving SEO with Headless Chrome for your client side framework
Sam Li

hey Sam,

I’m told Google will come in as both bot and browser for user agent, and they compare the pages from both to see if they are different. If they are they penalize the site with a low score.

Given that we’re not sure whether or not Google will successfully render our SPA on its servers when it pretends to be a regular browser how can we be sure that we won’t be penalized (Google as bot user may or may not see the same page as Google as browser user) And if Google can successfully render our SPA then why do we need a separate rendering pipeline in the first place?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
