“Pure Capitalism” ~ an idea and a practice that ensues in an individual or a society that has walked into the trap of obedience, and of its borderline companion, wilfully blind compliance, the mother of all narcotics.

“Pure Obedience” ~ Nietzsche understood nihilism as the epitome of an anesthetized will: the quiet, if not occasionally panic driven desperation to believe in nothing rather than have nothing to believe in. This article describes that ensnarement very well indeed. Just keep on shopping…

“Pure Equality“ ~ Foucault established the equality of all men, an international citizenship, on the basis of a universal subjugation to governmental powers, and in defending protest and resistance against that, promotes an idea of freedom as a practice rather than an abstract ideal or goal to be achieved. That practice which runs as a life line through liberal democracy, is most surely a step forward in overcoming “pure capitalism” or “pure whatever-ism” but can such counterculture drive, this positive negativism that Nietzsche described as ”einen Pessimismus der Stärke”, ever be an adequate cornerstone on which to build a just and prosperous world?

“Pure Resentment” ~ does this reactivism whose idea that “All men are born unfree and equal…” not equally contribute to a pervasive acrimony, a perturbation that this article brings to an apex by virtue of its very eloquence? Hasn’t the historical experiment of fuelling the misery of the masses in order to ignite a final solution, proven to be a dead cat in a very dark alley? What’s the point of watching it endlessly bounce?

“Pure Cynicism” ~ can we afford the luxury of simply waiting to see what the future will bring, as the author states in concluding her searing indictment? Really, is there no chance of escape from a future running on empty?

“Pure End” ~
