The Web of Native Apps II: Google and Facebook

I created an account just to up-vote your article — it actually hits the nail of what is wrong with current state of web (Mike’s article is focused is too much of replacing everything for sake of it), and how we could actually solve it, and what actually holds us back from doing it.

Like the WONA is already kind-of working in every enviroment except Windows (which happens to be the most popular one). If there was platform created that unifies every platform into single API of WONA — it possibly could replace whole meaning of “apps” as we know it now.
