Your writing is awesome! You hit the nail on the head once again.

However, are you sure the North Korean leader is the bad guy in the story? Let’s face it, America has a nasty record for invading countries, for the past 5 decades or more. And if you look at a map, US army bases are strewn across countries that it had invaded decades ago. Isn’t the real terrorist the guy who invades another country? And the real hero the guy defending his country?

North Korea, justly or not, feels threatened for a very long time now, and it is reasonable to expect that they will want to defend themselves. Why are America allowed to have thousands of nuclear warheads but North Korea not even one? Let us not forget, from the 1950’s to 1970 the US exploded more than a thousand nuclear bombs (according to Wikipedia) on its own soil and that of a once sovereign nation that had to say goodbye to their Bikini atol after the US had blown it to smithereens.

I’m not necessarily defending NK, I am merely saying we should look at their point of view as well. And maybe, as John Doe, take matters into our own hands and start talking to the North Korean leader. Because we cannot expect it from Trump. The latter is the real threat here, him and his incompetent money-hungry cronies, not NK.
